In the early 1990s, Pine Ridge crafted this unusual and delectable blend as an experimental bottling. This unique marriage of two varieties unites the crisp, honeyed fruit of Chenin Blanc with the plush body and juicy stone fruit notes of Viognier.
Chenin Blanc grapes come from Clarksburg, known as the "Gem of the Delta." Viognier grapes come from Lodi, with a climate similar to the Mediterranean.
The bright entry reveals lychee, key lime, peach, grapefruit, and nectarine flavors. Balanced acidity carries through the clean, lingering finish.
